Dr. Nancy Weaver will share results from a recent publication: Support Over Silence for KIDS: a bystander training program to address public child maltreatment. Dr. Weaver and her team created this program to train bystanders to confidently defuse challenging moments between caregivers and their children in public. Dr. Weaver will discuss the development, implementation and evaluation of the program and how they’re scaling up.
