Dana Hollinshead’s scholarship examines associations between contextual factors (community, agency structure, policy, and decision-maker characteristics) and child welfare outcomes. Her current work explores caseworkers’ characteristics and perspectives, the decisions they make on the cases they serve, and turnover. Her career has focused on conducting program evaluation, research, and policy analyses that support child welfare system reform across the United States
